POSITION TITLE:   Operations Research Analyst

POSITION DUTIES: Perform data operation for passenger vehicle business, which include a set of recurring processing data from various sources and other database management functions;  Produce weekly and monthly reports including portfolio concentration, used vehicle value depreciation, remarketing metrics and lease penetration; Participate in the improvement of RVI Group’s propriety forecast models for passenger vehicle business; Research and contribute to the improvement of proprietary Monte-Carlo Pricing Model and development of loss reserve model for new insurance products; Perform analysis on an as needed basis to support underwriting and risk management of all lines of business; and Work with manager to design and apply quality control on above data processes.

JOB TITLE: Manager, Client Service

DEPARTMENT: Commercial Equipment

RVI Group is a Stamford based residual value insurance company serving both lessors and investors in the passenger vehicle, commercial equipment and commercial real estate markets.  Residual value insurance protects against a decline in market value of tangible assets, and is a critical tool for asset risk and lease accounting.  The flexibility of residual value insurance allows us to tailor coverage to meet the objectives of each unique client.


Primary responsibilities for this position are client communication, all aspects of account management, and coordination of new client implementations. Additional responsibilities are development, execution and evaluation of strategic sales and marketing plans, including email and mail campaigns, advertising, event planning, collateral materials and interaction with industry associations. This individual supports all accounts, responding to the full range of client questions, issues, and operational needs, ensuring department goals for excellent client support and communication are met. Partners closely with Risk Management to ensure that all client needs are met, CE service levels are achieved and the CE systems and processes are working effectively, documented clearly, and revised as necessary.  Coordinates all new client implementations, including internal and external communication and activities.
In addition to the supervisor, this individual works closely with the Commercial Equipment and Risk Management Underwriting Teams, and the Accounting, IT and Legal Departments.  This position has significant interaction with clients and vendors.

  • Provide regular client support, managing and maintaining all account activity. Activities including processing account activity, team meetings, service level reporting, issue resolution, and setting and managing the implementation tasks and timeline.
  • Support officers with new prospects and opportunities. Communicate the RVI approach and drive process. Develop and closely manage relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Support the officers with call planning and follow-up, opportunity tracking, proposal preparation, client presentations and account plans.
  • Improve sales effectiveness of department by coordinating and planning conference attendance, outcomes and follow-up activity, maintaining information on all CE conferences.
  • Administer department’s Customer Relationship Management System (Salesforce), ensuring account and prospect information is up to date and necessary reports are provided.
  • Regularly communicate sales priorities to Risk Management and necessary approval channels, and obtain necessary information from clients to get submissions through the system in a timely manner.
  • Lead and coordinate the monthly Marketing & Sales meeting.
  • Manage transaction pricings and indications and deliver notification to the clients.
  • Plan and oversee the annual RVI event for key finance players in the industry.
  • Administer all CE reporting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to internal constituents.


  • Work closely with Risk Management, Legal, IT, Accounting and other departments as needed, collaborating across all functional business areas.
  • Work with Sales Team to identify new opportunities. Research targets utilizing industry emails, publications and other sources.
  • Supervise CE projects in sales, marketing and underwriting as required.
  • Manage CE mailing campaigns, webinars and conferences materials.
  • Maintain department intranet page as necessary.
  • Attend industry events to network with prospects and clients as needed, while maintaining relationships with industry associations, organizations and publications.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field
  • 4-6 years of experience in sales, marketing and/or client services, preferably in the equipment finance and/or leasing industry.

Technical Knowledge / Skills:

  • Strong capability in MS Office Suite
  • Good aptitude for learning independently using a variety of systems such as Salesforce and proprietary RVI applications (Tarmac, Quest, Surveillance)
  • Very strong verbal communication skills, in person and over the phone
  • Excellent writing skills with experience creating reports, proposals and marketing materials
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Understanding of basic math and finance
  • Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively coordinate systems initiatives including experience with system process development
